Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Peter has a growing reputation as an accomplished guitarist, vocalist, composer and producer. Music Connection Magazine wrote that Torsiello is "a versatile Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist who is definitely worth looking into."

The performance of his original music as a medium of expression led him to earn a BM in Classical Guitar Performance from Arizona State University. While obtaining his BM degree, Mr. Torsiello worked numerous jobs as a bandleader, lead vocalist, bass player and lead guitarist. Specializing and mastering classical, pop, rock, flamenco, Latin and liturgical music, and composing works within those traditions has been his forte.

As a prolific songwriter, Peter unites Latin, Classical, Folk, Flamenco, Light Jazz, and Rock: All revolving around his extremely gifted acoustic/electric guitar performance. His debut album, "Paper Cathedrals" which has garnered rave press reviews, has resided on play lists  in over 72 major national markets, Cox Music Network and U.S. Air. Peter has also released a Christian Compact Disc, "Glory to God" and is currently in pre-production on his upcoming CD "Me Undo" under the management of Titan Music Management. If his music must be classified, it could be best described as adult contemporary. Many of Peter's songs include thought-provoking lyrics, which examine a life of faith in God.

Peter Torsiello performs both solo and with a band. He has played to a sold-out house at the legendary Troubadour on a bill which included Vonda Shepard and Willie Porter. Since 1991 he has performed in places that include: FM Station, Club Lingerie, Graffiti, Cobalt Cafe, Tampico Tillys, Night Winds, Genghis Cantina, Luna Park, Cava, Amazon, American Pie and for festivals in Germany and Spain. Peter has been featured in the NAS Acoustic Underground, The New Music Scene, and can be seen regularly in clubs and concert venues across Southern California. Peter feels very blessed by his involvement in the Christian music scene in Los Angeles and has played numerous concerts at churches and Christian coffeehouses throughout southern California. He is currently the Director of Music at Our Lady of Malibu Catholic church.

Peter Torsiello played lead guitar for the Hollywood Records recording artist and "Super Estrella" L.A. morning D.J., "Serralde". As the guitarist/background vocalist, he has appeared on numerous TV shows which include "Billboard Minutes", Canal 34 Univision "KMEX Noticias," KJLA (music video show), KVEA (music video show), "CNN en espanol" and on the music video for the hit single "No Hay 'Na Mejor". "Serralde" (with Peter) has performed live for thousands for events like Fiesta Broadway and three Cinco de Mayo festivals for KLOV 107.5, La Romantica 96.7, and Radio Latina KLTN in San Diego. Other venues include the Sunn Theatre in Anahiem, Las Vegas House of Blues and Soldier Field in Chicago.

Mr. Torsiello's studio work as a guitarist and vocalist includes works with producer/songwriter Mark Keefner- Paul Cotton' solo album (member of Poco)- the anniversary episode of "That 70's Show"- MGM TV show "Fame L.A." - composer and guitarist for the Jeff Jones CD "Mosaic"- the hit prime-time series "Third Watch"- and a commercial for J.C. Pennys. Peter's lead guitar work and songwriting is beautifully exemplified on the CD "Passage Home" for the band "Twist of Faith" from which two tracks have been featured on the hit CBS series "That's Life."

Currenty, Peter is enjoying producing from his studio "The Red Room". Artists produced include singer/songwriter Ileana and classical vocalist Michael Wieser. In addition to his studio work he has collaborated with choreographer Liliana de Leon as composer and music director for the multi-media concert entitled "Punto de Vista"and
music director in  the multi-media concert entitled
"Punto de Vista".
He is also currently the guitarist and music director for Latin Grammy Nominee Maria del Rey.
